We are RATS

Last night we had another “standing room only” crowd online and in person (over 100 in total) for our weekly Monday night meeting.  Our next “Mask Off Monday” meeting will be this coming Monday May 10th at a special “undisclosed” location in the northwest metro (more on that in the coming days). Please try to make it as it’ll be fun, informative and a great networking opportunity to meet other people not living in fear. It’s empowering because we have such an amazing community who encourage and support each other. Here’s just one small example:

MOMN Activism In Action!

Wow we’ve been busy! Over the weekend many or members were spotted around the Twin Cities showing off our banners, giving out flyers and business cards and spreading truth. Maybe you or someone you know saw us!

Do you want to join us? We actually fun doing it! Sign our “Activist Agreement” and you’ll be invited to future rallies and activism events (currently this only for folks in the who are able to rally in the metro area)

Chalk Activism

Unlike some other “activists” we don’t destroy property or spray paint naughty words all around town. So what’s our method? Sidewalk chalk! Next time you go for a walk or run, bring some chalk and become a super spreader of truth!

One of our members last night shared this bold idea. She brings yard signs with her to the store and places it in the cart as she’s shopping! Talk about a RAT (REAL ACTION TAKER)!

Not Honoring The Exemptions Is A Violation of EO 20-81

In last week’s newsletter, we shared Govenor Walz’s full executive order. We discovered that many of us, including store managers, haven’t never actually read it! We also shared that by not honoring the exemptions listed in section 8 they are in violation of the EO and we provided the direct link to report such violations to MDH.

One of our amazing members, who happens to be an attorney, has provided for all of our members the following templates:

“HOW TO STATE YOUR EXEMPTION WHEN ENTERING A STORE”

“TEMPLATE FOR LETTER TO BUSINESS VIOLATING EXECUTIVE ORDER 20-81”

Keep in mind you could send the letter to the business anonymously but if you want to hear how the business is trying to defend their illegal action, then you should include a return address.

Kickoff To Summer at The Fair?

The Minnesota State Fair is back on (maybe)… but under some really dystopian guidelines per the test run. You can’t just show up like normal, you have to enter a special lottery system so that maybe you can buy tickets. Even if you are “lucky enough” to be selected, you have to wear the “skam” on your face the entire time unless you’re seated and eating/drinking! Oh and eating and drinking is prohibited while walking! We won’t be attending and you shouldn’t either….

Fishing Opener!

If you thought it was bad wearing a mask the entire time at the fair, Walz is now inviting us to the fishing opener… where he’s asking to continue to mask up. “We hope to see Minnesotans continuing to mask up for a memorable fishing experience.”

Rapid Covid testing in England may be scaled back over false positives

Leaked emails seen by the Guardian show that senior officials are now considering scaling back the widespread testing of people without symptoms, due to a growing number of false positives. It means thousands of people could be wrongly told to self-isolate and miss out on earnings or education due to inaccurate results.
