There is no emergency in MN

Even though we’re behind all of our neighboring states when it comes to taking our freedom back, we are making some progress. In case you didn’t hear, the city of Ramsey, MN voted to stop enforcing the Walz mask mandate!

There is more good news. Hospitalizations ‘with’ covid are very low. So low, many of us are wondering, “where is the emergency?”

In a state of over 5 million people, as of March 14th, there are currently 59 people in the ICU ‘with’ Covid-19. According to the MN Department of Health: “In most cases, the original admission was for COVID”

“In most cases”… which means it’s possible that they were admitted for something completely unrelated like a car accident but happen to have a positive PCR test. PCR tests are well known for having a high percentage of false positives in some cases.

Nonetheless, even going with their numbers that could include people with a false positive test, “covid” is making up a very small fraction of overall hospitalizations and ICU usage in Minnesota.

Now let’s take a look at the survival rates in MN. The following data is taken from the MDH and compiled by @covid_clarity

Many people have wondered if masks have made any difference in MN? The media and local politicians sure seem to think so. Let’s take a look at this chart taken from the MN Dept of Health data:

Now let’s compare MN to North Dakota and Iowa.

Since ending the mandates, hospitalizations are down 75% in North Dakota and 47% in Iowa. In Minnesota, over the same periods, they’re down 63% and 38%…

Even the mainstream media has now admitted that states with more restrictive mandates didn’t fair better. “Virus tolls similar despite governors’ contrasting actions” compares open Florida to locked down California.

“Despite their differing approaches, California and Florida have experienced almost identical outcomes in COVID-19 case rates.”
