What happened to the flu?

One of the most bizarre features of the alleged COVID-19 ‘global pandemic’ has been the mysterious disappearance of the seasonal flu in medical and public health record keeping. It’s as if the Flu just vanished into thin air after being the most common perennial seasonal respiratory virus.

Around April 6th, 2020, influenza disappeared in MN and most of the world. You’ll see this for yourself in the screenshot below taken from the MN Dept of Health flu report. Keep in mind that the info flows from the right and back to the left. So essentially the right side of the image is the end of the 2020 flu season and the left side starts at week 40 of 2020 (the new flu season). Notice the red line almost completely flat compared to the previous years.

Also notice that there only 22 hospitalizations so far this season. In the 2017/2018 flu season, there were over 6,000 people hospitalized. Even last year at this time there were already 981 hospitalizations. This season so far… 22…

Some people wonder if cases that would have been considered flu in previous years, are now being classified as Covid-19 as the symptoms are almost identical. We know hospitals and local and state governments are reimbursed more for covid cases/deaths so there is potentially a financial incentive.

Interestingly, the CDC on this page states: “Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this system will suspend data collection for the 2020-21 influenza season. Data from previous seasons are available on FluView Interactive.”

Even the W.H.O. stats show this incredible phenomenon of the flu simply vanishing:

So much for those warnings of a “twindemic”…

Of course some people will argue that it’s because of the social distancing, masks, and locking down of people & businesses. But then those same people when asked why are the Covid cases rising/continuing, they’ll say it’s because we’re not doing the social distancing, masks, locking down of people & businesses enough and/or properly.

I don’t know about you, but when I go to Hyvee and Target in the Twin Cities, I see 100% compliance with masks…

Ironically, where we have the highest compliance is also where we have the worst “cases”…

So did influenza really disappear last spring or is it simply being reclassified as Covid-19?
